Week 2 in Review
It's about that time again for a week in review. Happy 4th of July everyone! Today is day 16 of the trip and everything has been great so far. Last weekend we were in Seattle with Budaj. We left Seattle early afternoon Sunday and drove to Portland to visit a couple breweries and ended up hanging out with Tom Potti and his bro for a few hours. Monday we drove to Redwood National Park. Redwood was awesome@! The trees are huge, there aren't a ton of people around and you get to just play in the woods. We did not go into the heart of actual Redwood National Park, but we stopped and hiked a few different trails and had a blast. It was like being a little kid and playing the woods all over, except this time the trees were thousands of years old and really huge. All the campsites at Redwood were full so we ended up just driving through the night and through wildfires to Yosemite. At first we thought Yosemite was kind of lame, but as usual we made it great. We went off the beaten path a bit and found some really beautiful and amazing sites and got to climb a mountain in the process. From Yosemite we drove over to Napa. I think I've said it about 5 times already, but Napa was great. We had an amazing time and discovered our new idol, Robert Mondavi. We are now in the San Francisco area for the weekend with Adam. We're going downtown soon for the day and watching the fireworks over the bay and then crashing at Adam's new place downtown. There is a new slideshow with pictures from this past week too. Enjoy!
